PEDS 311E. Clinical Preceptorship at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF)

Description
Students have the opportunity to observe several outpatient pediatricians caring for patients in a private practice setting. They will learn to work up and manage sick and well infants, children and adolescents at the PAMF in Palo Alto. Students participate in staff conferences and will create a presentation on an outpatient pediatric topic of their choice. Students from other institutions must be enrolled through Stanford.

Prerequisites
Pediatrics 300A suggested but not required. Arrange with Dr. Lai at 650-853-2876 at least 4 weeks in advance.

Periods Available
4-6, 9-12, full-time for four weeks. 1 student per period.
